*INSTRUCTIONS:
*This exciting game does not effect your score. It is a game within a
game. The game begins with bowlers agreeing on value of the poker
chips. Each player begins with no chips. Only one game is needed per
group. The chips are placed in a pile at the scoring table then handed
out as bowlers earn the positive and/or negative chips. Bowlers want to
obtain the positive chips and avoid the penalty chips. You pay or get
paid depending on which players are holding the chips at the end of the
game.
*Example:*
If Bowler ONE is first to get a Turkey he will receives the Turkey chip
until the next bowler gets a Turkey. At that time he must hand over the
chip to that bowler. All of the chips are passed throughout the game.
The bowlers left holding the chips at the end of the game must pay or be
paid from the other bowlers the amount wagered a the beginning. The
Wild Card chip is for your group to make up any be and rule before you
play. A Wild Card bet can be a positive or negative (for example:
positive: 4 strikes in a row, Negative 7-10 split). The BEER Chip is for
the player with the lowest score for the frame. He must buy a round for
the other players. This can used as much as your group would like.
Every three frames, every two frames...or for experts every frame! Your
group decides before the game begins. We suggest putting a value 2x
the wagered amount for the Turkey since this is the hardest chip. Vegas
Bowl The Game combines the great sport of bowling with gambling and
beverages! Lots of fun!
FUNDRAISER PROGRAM:
Introduce Vegas Bowl The Game……give each bowler a game that has the sponsor or tournament logo on it.
Important to have a FUNDRAISER GREETER to:
1) Explain the game as they welcome the bowlers to the event and the games are passed out.
2) Example:
“Thank you for coming out to support Breast Cancer today. We are giving each of you a complimentary Vegas BOWL The Game. However, only one game is needed per lane. One person please take out your Vegas Bowl and decide as a group how much your group will be wagering per chip.” The FUNDRAISER GREETER is to write down each group, along with their wager per chip. “We will be donating (example) all of the negative chips (Split, Miss, Gutter, Wild Card, Beer/Beverage Chip) to Breast Cancer. Whoever ends up with these chips at the end of the game....please do not pay the other players! We will announce each group, at that time whoever ended up with the donated chips ( Split, Miss, Gutter, Wild Card, Beer/Beverage Chip) please come up with the money you would have paid each of the other players and give it to the Breast Cancer representative.
A FUN WAY TO RAISE ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR THE CHARITY!
THERE IS NO OTHER Bowling Game THAT ACTUALLY MAKES THE CHARITY MORE MONEY THAN THE ACTUAL PREMIUM ITSELF WHILE HAVING FUN BOWLING! (Example: If just the negative chips were donated to charity (could add the positive ones too) and each wager was only at $10.00 per chip .....that means for a group of only four would end up giving the charity $150.00 for a group of four and $200 for a lane with five! Not to mention each bowler gets to keep his or her own game with the sponsor/charity imprinted on the back of every chip to be used time and time again!
(As an additional bonus....the organizers give the group that wagered the most per chip a gift certificate to the Bowling Alley or Dinner, etc... They get this at no charge from the Bowling Alley/restaurant for charity and it helps up the wager of each group in the name of the charity).
OTHER FUND RAISER IDEAS to incorporate:
For large events that have a beer sponsor...have the beer company sponsor the BEER Chip by putting their logo and image on the back. This means when the beer chip is used...many times during the event...their name and logo is seen. The back of the BEER CHIP could have image of the sponsoring beer company with a message underneath TIME TO BUY US A CORONA! Additional cost may apply for extra additional chip imprint.
***To maximize your beer sponsor....have this company as the only beer you serve during the event. And when a person from each group has to buy the next round because they get stuck with the Beer Chip...have part of the beer proceeds to go charity.
